Also, download this free guide on the Four Part Process I use to create my own work, and help others create a process of their own!
Art is a circular practice, not a linear one, and going back to the beginning each time you create, will help make it so much easier for you to create great art over and over again.
My Approach
A Four Part Process for creating authentic art
Every lesson, resource, and conversation in my memberships is built around these four interconnected stages--for complete beginners and experienced artists alike. The techniques are important--but the process is what makes the magic happen.
01
Exploration
Start by exploring all the things that appeal to you. Subjects, materials, style. What speaks to you?
02
Experimentation
Start using what you're interested in and see how it feels. What seems most natural to you?
03
Documentation
Document, document, document. This is one of the most important parts of the process!
04
Practice & Refinement
Return to what resonates. Your voice and style will emerge.
Hi! I'm Terry!
And I'm really excited you have landed here! If you're a beginning or experienced artist looking for a deeper dive into what you're truly trying to say with your art, you are definitely in the right place.
I'm a professional mixed media artist, instructor and international retreat faciliator and I help artists just like you, learn how to create unique, authentic, feels good to you art!
I've been creating art for years but it wasn't until I spent an entire year developing a process, experimenting and documenting everything I'd learned, that it all started to click! And it was pure magic. I now help artists through that same process of discovery in way less than a year!
