The Women's Art And Serenity Retreat is open to women 18 and older who would like to participate in an amazing journey of relaxation, rejuvenation, and creative inspiration in the beautiful rainforests of Costa Rica.

Private Retreats for groups are available by contacting me directly through the Contact Form. 

 Retreat Dates:  Retreat dates are announced as booked. If you would like to extend your stay, or come earlier, we can help you with suggestions for where to go and what to see.  Despite its small size, Costa Rica has a vast amount of things to see and do.

*The Venue: The retreat will be held at Finca 360, a lovely boutique hotel in Venecia, Costa Rica, two hours from San Jose Airport.  Step outside where you'll be surrounded by the beautiful jungles, and rainforests of the Juan Castro Blanco National Park.  We'll visit a nearby, crystal blue waterfall, and soak in local hot springs.  You'll be surrounded by beauty and inspiration at every turn.  Our group will have the entire hotel to ourselves, along with the services of the beautiful family who runs it, and incredibly delicious cuisine!

*You Deserve This!  Being in nature is known to immediately boost seratonin, lower heart rates, relax the muscles, and inspire creativity.  Nature is both healing and inspiring, and Costa Rica is one of the best places in the world to experience it.

 

 

 

Sample Itinerary Women's Art and Serenity Retreat

All activities are optional and itinerary is subject to change.

Day 1: Arrival and Welcome.  

  • Arrival and check-in.
  • Welcome dinner, overview of the retreat, get to know your hosts and each other.

Day 2: Creative Exploration and Wellness.  

  • 7:30-9:00 Breakfast.
  • 9:00-11:00 Forest Bathing Experience.
  • 11:00-12:00 Free personal time.
  • 12:00-1:00 Lunch.
  • 1:00-4:00 Creative time in the art studio.
  • 4:00-5:00 Free personal time.
  • 5:00-6:00 Happy hour. (non alcoholic beverages included).
  • 6:00-7:30 Dinner.
  • Evening free.

Day 3: Adventure and Wellness. Day Trip to Blue Falls Waterfalls and Hummingbird Garden. 

  • 7:30-8:30 Breakfast.
  • 8:30-1:00 Guided hike to Blue Falls Waterfalls with lunch in the pavilion and hummingbird gardens.
  • 1:00-2:00 Rest and Regroup 
  • 2:00-4:00 Creative time in the art studio.
  • 4:00-5:00 Personal time (walks, meet the staff, birding, wildlife viewing, plein air painting).
  • 5:00-6:00 Happy hour.
  • 6:00-7:30 Dinner.
  • Evening free.

Day 4: Personal Introspection.  

Flex Day.  Options include:

  • Guided Hike On The Property 
  • Yoga Or Meditation 
  • Massage (additional cost)
  • Creative Time In Art Studio
  • Sleep In!
  • 4:00-5:00 Free Time
  • 5:00-6:00 Happy Hour, Cooking Class and Local Dancers
  • 6:00-7:30 Dinner
  • Evening free

      Day 5: Adventure and Wellness. Day Trip To La Fortuna. 

      • 7:00-7:30 Early Breakfast
      • 7:45 Drive to La Fortuna 
      • 10:00 Guided tours at either Mistico Hanging Bridges or The Sloth Trail
      • 1:00 Buffet Lunch and Hot Springs at Eco Termales
      • 4:30 Drive back to Finca360
      • 6:30-7:30 Dinner

      Day 6: Cross Cultural Experience.

      • 7:30-8:15 Meditation and Short Walk
      • 7:30-9:00 Breakfast
      • 9:00-12:00 Collaborative Project With Local Community
      • 12:00-1:00 Lunch
      • 1:00-4:00 Creative Time In Art Studio And Personal Time
      • 5:00-6:00 Happy Hour
      • 6:00-7:30 Dinner

      Day 7: The Great Celebration!  

      • 7:30-9:00 Breakfast. 
      • 9:00-12:00 Finish any artwork in studio. 
      • 12:00-1:00 Lunch. 
      • 1:00-3:00 Personal time to pack.
      • 3:00-5:00 Art "show and tell", social time with staff.
      • 5:00-6:00 Happy hour. 
      • 6:00-7:30 Dinner.
      • 7:30-8:00 Farewell Meditation and Reflection. 

      Day 8:  Departure.

      • 7:00-7:45 Breakfast
      • 8:00 Departure to airport.

      Hi!  I'm Terry!

      I am so excited to be offering you this incredible opportunity to experience a place I absolutely love.

      Costa Rica is a magical, sacred place full of natural wonders, inspiration, and peace.

      After many years of visiting and realizing this is where I belonged, I moved here part time with my husband in October 2025!

      We live on a beautiful citrus farm in the Central Valley with views, wildlife and the rhythms of nature all around us.  It's hard to describe how this environment changes your life and your spirit.

      I hope you will come away with the same sense that I have; that the challenges in life can be healed, and we can be inspired, and rejuvenated personally and creatively, by being in the depths of nature.
